Remember, a FREE design quote is always available at Why Not Design!

A written/PDF/email contract agreement will be approved and signed by both parties before begining any project and will outline:

1. The look and feel of the project from samples/links given to Why Not Design
2. The design elements to be included - as supplied by the client
3. The estimated timeline for each phase
4. The estimated final deadline
5. The estimated cost for all items
6. The copyright and usage rights of the work completed and services rendered
7. The exceptions and miscellaneous items to be considered

Any project will officially begin the following business day after Why Not Design has received all of the following:

1. The contract agreement by fax/PDF/email, signed and dated
2. A deposit of one-third* of the estimated project cost
3. Any, and all materials necessary to begin a significant portion of the project

NOTE: Materials that Why Not Design does not have in emails, attatchments, hardcopies, CDs, or accessible to us online at the beginning of a project and are necessary to progress in a timely manner will be the complete and full responsibility of the client. Be aware that this will delay your project.

A second payment (another one-third) will be invoiced when the design of your project is approved by fax/PDF/email. Once Why Not Design receives the second payment we will begin the final steps necessary to complete the project and prepare it for printing/press or to make the web site live online.

Once you have received the final printed product, or your web site is live, the closing balance will be invoiced according to the initial agreement along with any additions or changes agreed upon by both parties, and shall be due within 15 days or additional work may cease. A 10% late fee per month may apply to outstanding balances - depending on the project.

Any items requested beyond the initial agreement (Flash animation, scripting/programming, audio, video, online forms, etc.) will receive a separate written estimate and a separate contract agreement or addendum.

All information shared between parties pertaining to projects and business opportunities shall be held in the strictest confidence! This will ensure the protection of the Intellectual Property Rights of each party.

*All projects under $300.00 require the full amount up front in order to begin work.
